The employees of this stunning conservatory and vibrant gardens work extremely hard to maintain the 88-acres of grounds. This is a fantastic spot for families to enjoy a scenic walk, while children particularly enjoy the fish ponds and beautiful resident butterflies.
- North Market Farmer’s Market
This farmers market is not only one of biggest, but also the oldest in Central Ohio. The magnificent display of farm fresh produce which local grower proudly sell is truly phenomenal. This includes more than 20 farmers that all sell their own variations of home cultivated vegetables, fruits, aromatic herbs, honey, flowers and plants. This market also offers fantastic cuisine for those who would like to take some time out to drink and eat. This market opens to the public every Saturday from 8am.
- Ohio Theatre
This fantastic historic theatre which dates back to 1928, was fortunately spared from been torn down and demolished. In the 1980s, the building was restored to its former glory, where the stage of the theatre underwent a modern revamp to accommodate the fantastic performances that it puts on today. This includes anything from opera, ballet, musicals and even fun presentations and lectures, which includes the Broadway Series and summer Movie Series which is held each year. This is the perfect family venue to enjoy the symphony which includes concerts held by the Columbus Symphony Orchestra. Other popular performances include the Nutcracker over the Christmas period, or even a weekend visit to enjoy some of the old movies, this is a venue that manages to tick the boxes for all ages.
